Begin with a practical outcome
Write down one task you want to do better. You might want to build a useful report, plan a campaign or lead a team conversation with more confidence. A concrete outcome makes it easier to compare courses.
Read beyond the programme title
Ask for the learning outcomes, topic outline and expected level. Find out what you will actually practise and whether the activities relate to your work or interests.
Check the commitments
Confirm the timetable, delivery mode, language, equipment requirements and time needed outside class. Review the full fee and applicable cancellation terms before you commit.
Understand the credential
Confirm the certificate issuer and the requirements for successful completion. If you plan to seek university admission or credit, ask the receiving institution what it will recognise. Do not assume that completion guarantees either.
Make room for application
Choose a realistic opportunity to use what you learn. A small project with feedback can help you identify what you understand and what you still need to practise.
